What is Upward Sports?
Upward is a national organization that is partnered with over 2,500 churches. The program is designed to give children (both boys and girls) and their families a positive sports experience by partnering with local churches to build character, self esteem and salvation. The season will incorporate practices, games, devotions and a celebration event at the end of the season. The emphasis is on skill development and spiritual growth.

2012-2013 Season
Basketball
Upward Basketball promotes character, self esteem and salvation to each participant while teaching basketball skills. Upward Basketball offers a competetive, non-threatening environment where every participant gets EQUAL playing time and will start an EQUAL amount of games during the season. We welcome K through 6th grade boys and girls in the Ohio Valley Area to sign up and play.
Cheerleading
Upward Cheerleading teaches the fundamentals of cheerleading by focusing on strong skill development and provides a safe, fun and affirming experience. Learn new stances, motions, jumps, cheers and pom routines while making new friends! There will be no stunts. We welcome K through 6th grade girls in the Ohio Valley Area to sign up and CHEER.
